4/15/2023 0 Comments Darkest dungeon weald![]() There's nothing in the ruins that I, at least, need to keep in mind when going there. ![]() Cove's bosses are extremely easy as well. Cove's Champion enemy with the fiddle and his stress attacks, the name escapes me, is the easiest of the four Champion enemies to deal with. Ucas and their bleed attacks are terrible, but apart from that, the place's fine. The Flesh is doable the first two times and is a hard fight the third time, whereas the Swine God is easy all three times.Ĭove's easy. The bosses it has aren't too bad, though. Skiver their attacks are devastating and always catch me off guard. Interesting runs because they're different, I'll admit. The high probability of disease, and the fact that some diseases are terrible and completely kill your Hero's ability to sustain their place in the comp, makes for something you cannot account for. Warrens is shitty because of the chance of disease, and because of the Skivers. Twelve Pounder is an easy but lengthy boss, and I consistently have trouble with the Hag even when I deck out my comp specifically for the fight with her. I actually don't have many troubles with the Virago, only their dodge really throws me off sometimes. The giants and their Confusion Spores are obnoxious. The puppers consistently dodge my attacks, as do the crones. The Weald's just a fucking shitshow whenever I go there. To be fair though stalling in any place turns the game into a joke, but Pelagic Guardian's always the biggest example to stall on that comes to mind. Like if I can heal and stress heal my entire team to full every time there's one of those guys in a fight, it kinda takes any challenge from the place(part of why I don't use stalling all that much, but still). Plus the pelagic guardian to stall on makes that place a bit of a joke if you bring a stalling capable team. Meanwhile the Cove I never felt was all that dangerous, most enemies are basic enough and all you ever really need is high damage to the front(to deal with crabs and thralls), and an Occultist or Plague Doctor to deal with the back, maybe a few bandages, and then you're pretty much just set. The Warrens because the constant risk of disease, swine skivers, and just the fact that the Champion Flesh exists makes me hate the place entirely when that thing's wiped so many of my heroes(I'd rather fight the shambler than that thing). I personally think the Warrens is the worst place, then Weald, then Cove and Ruins.
